We are growing our Data Team members at Ankorstore and looking for a highly skilled Analytics Engineer to join the BI team. 📊🚀

The role 🤓

You will report toour Growth Engineer Manager, Ryan Azzaz, based in Paris and be part of a team of people distributed across several locations in Europe 🇫🇷🇬🇧🇳🇱🇪🇸🇸🇪🇩🇪🇧🇪🇱🇺.

If you are deeply passionate about data-driven decisions, transforming raw data into clear, actionable business insights and like to use your creativity to make data a strategic asset in a fast-growing start-up, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key responsibilities 🧠

• Develop visualization dashboards and ETL (Extract, Load, Transform) jobs
• Support the development of a new BI data warehouse
• Participate in the definition of analytics layers and best practices to develop a data-driven culture at the company level
• Work closely with data engineers and data analysts to unlock the full analytics potential of our data structure

What will you bring to the table? 💪🏽

• Experience in a Data Analyst or Data Engineer position (1-2 years)
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in SQL and/or an object-oriented programming language (ex: Python)
• Experience with Git & GitHub
• You are curious about both the business and the technical sides of things
• You are a team player - always demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude and want to work in a team
• You are fluent in English

Other skills that would add value 💡

• Knowledge of Google Cloud stack or another cloud provider
• Knowledge of containerization/orchestration tools (ex: dbt, Airflow, Docker, Jenkins)
• Fluency in French
