Job description

Job summary
Amazon’s Internal Corporate Communications team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated and creative communications professional to manage employee-facing communications in France. As single-threaded leader, you will be responsible for all internal communications to corporate employees in France, including the development of an editorial calendar and implementation of employee communication and engagement strategies, and events. The role would suit a tenacious, detail-orientated people person with a passion for storytelling, comfort to lead through ambiguity, and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business.
Key job responsibilities
• Work as part of a global team to develop innovative internal communications strategies, clear narratives and clever tactics that are tailored to, and engage, Amazon’s corporate employees in the country and nearby regions.
• Provide expert internal communications counsel to a variety of functions, stakeholders, and senior leaders within France, taking account of the legal and cultural nuances;
• Source and deliver original content, including articles, videos, and events, that shine a spotlight on employees in your countries;
• Oversee the internal communications channels, delivery of content, and implementation of proactive campaigns and events for France;
• Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses and functions including PR, HR, Employer Brand, and the business leadership team;
• Manage change and issues and crisis communications to support day to day business needs;
• Be the employee experience advocate, representing and protecting this through all strategies and decision-making.

Preferred experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in speaking and writing in English
• 8+ years of public relations or communications experience
• Internal communications experience within a multi-national company
