Growth Manager - Acquisition

Today, more than 11000 merchants use Alma every day and this is only the beginning. To accelerate Alma's growth, we are developing the Growth Team. Its objective is simple: provide the sales team with a sufficient number of leads in 6 countries (France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Netherland & Belgium).

The growth division is currently made up of 8 members: Paul-François, Nicolas (Growth Engineer), Ezio (Growth Engineer), Telmo (Growth Ops), Bastien (Growth Ops), Arthur (Growth Ops), and Benoît (head of marketing).

To ensure the smooth running of our Growth Operations and the scale of our Lead Generation in Europe, we are looking for a new Growth Manager.

Your role: scale our lead gen like hell and feed all the sales in Europe

The main tasks of the position are as follows:

  • Manage and lead the 3 Growth Ops of the team
  • Ensure that our existing processes are running smoothly and improve them
  • Take control of our inside lead-generation tools (La Centrifugeuse, Ascaris..) and scale them
  • To be the point of contact for sales in Europe for Growth subjects (more than 40 sales divided among 6 countries)
  • Work hand in hand with the Growth Engineering Team to launch new features & tools
  • Help the other team in Alma to scale & automatize their processes

CRM

  • Improve our companies & contacts scoring
  • Work hand to hand with the Sales Ops to improve the internal sales processes
  • Ensure compliance with the sales and marketing SLA

Profile

The soft skills you need to have:

  • You’re organized and rigorous: you like structure and organization. You don’t let any ball drop, no matter how many there are.
  • You’re systematic: perfection is about repetition and you build and respect checklists as an airline pilot would do.
  • You love managing projects: you like planning and coordinating different teams to reach common objectives.
  • You’re open-minded: you are going to work with different cultures, in different countries.
  • You’re creative: growth is not about “hacking”, it’s about creativity. The less orthodox you are to solve a problem, the better it is.
  • You’re pragmatic: from prioritization to custom VS on-the-shelf solution, you know when something is relevant or not.
  • You’re persevering: you don’t give up easily. You keep your objective in mind and you can find new solutions to bounce back when needed.

Ideal profile

Coming from a Bac+5 education (business or engineering school), you want to have a job that has a visible impact.

You must have a significant experience as a Growth in a scale-up (Fintech is a big plus) and have already managed a growing team. You must have professional skills in English
