The Allianz technology France Local infrastructure and security team is dedicated for Allianz France customer. It combines all operational activities for the 4 technical pillars : Security, Network, Worplace and Datacenter. The department is in charge directly in contact with our Allianz France Customer and with the all Allianz Group architecture and engineering teams. The team is based in Franklin tower in Paris La Défense.

Even if the needs related to the cloud architecture is very important for Allianz France, position of IT Architect is more regional. It means that IT Architects can work for all regional Operational entities in France (Euler Hermes, Allianz Services, Allianz France), in Africa or in Benelux and middle east.

The IT Architect enables Allianz to be the industry leader in the digital world by delivering a next generation IT landscape. He / she develops, establishes, maintains and manages the IT architecture target picture that considers the IT strategy, standards and systems as well as commercial aspects.

Main topics of IT Architect are in the scope:

• Verify the usage of group standards, and the usage of global solutions and services,
• Review cloud group strategy and apply it with local specificities,
• Assesses the compatibility and integration of products and services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies within Allianz Technology
• Defines, implements and maintains the IT architecture target picture to accelerate Allianz’ future strategy and opportunities
• Conducts IT market research, provides proposals and prototypes, supports and consults customers (not sure)
• Provide feedbacks to service owners and global architects on the local requirements and capacity planning,
• Establishes the IT architecture framework and develops the IT architecture roadmap
• Defines IT architecture design methodologies and coordinates between all involved experts
• Operationalizes the IT architecture, provide operational models to operate the cloud design
• Drives alignment of Allianz Technology and OEIT technology landscape with the enterprise architecture target picture, including system retirement
• Document the deployed design and present them to the regional architecture board,
• Follow exception, remediation and transformation local strategies

It provides the ability to deploy the best solutions and to anticipate all security topics in a large company.

Responsibilities

• Responsible of the clouds technical stack, adoption and deployment
• Promotes all cloud aspects hybrid and public cloud based on AZtech catalog
• Maintains the IT architecture and provide roadmaps according the Allianz Group standard
• Develops innovation and studies to fulfill the business needs
• Support the operational levels in case of major issue or during the problem process

Further responsibilities:

• Possibility to interact in an international level in the same technical area
• Project management / project deployment
• Service manager around new services which could be developed

a) Qualification, Certification and Experiences:

• Notions of insurance business typologies (claims, underwriting…)
• Higher education degree in IT or comparable technical education
• Relevant work experience in IT architecture or in IT cloud development
• Certification on IT Architecture (e.g. TOGAF), or Allianz Technology IT Architect Qualification Program
• Good knowledge on AWS and Azure services

b) Skills and Competencies:

• Reliable with high level of accuracy
• Team player and ability to work under pressure with advanced level of self-organization and initiative
• Good communication and relationship building skills; Excellent ability in English language (oral and written)

Desired requirements /skills /experience:
First experience in the same kind of cloud Architecture position is expecting but experiences in IT cloud operations could be accepted
