Objectif/ rôle du poste

We are looking for our new actuary & reporting analyst within the reporting and monitoring department with a good experience in the insurance industry and/or actuary report analysis including excellent skills in datamining / data science.

At Allianz Care, Monitoring & Reporting department is responsible to steer and to control the International Health portfolio development (booked in 3 P&L : Paris, Dublin and Dubai) in order to actively contribute to the Allianz Care performance.

The actuary & reporting analyst role reports to the Allianz Care Head of Monitoring and Reporting.

Your role as actuary report analyst will be to address to 2 mains missions:

-Mission “Run”:

  • Follow and analyze large group contracts or individual books via dedicated performance review (results and forecasts) in order to secure, to drive achievement of financial targets (e.g. via follow-up combined ratio development per accounts) via triangles, patterns, claims reviews etc…
  • Deliver Executive Reports regarding your scope of businesses to monitor in order to steer adherence to Allianz Care plan referring your scope of contracts
  • Support development of a continuous monitoring feedback loop in conjunction with other departments as Underwriting, Actuarial Departments (L&A – CoR follow-up) and Operations Dpt.
  • Proactively support production of customers reports for large accounts as IGO/NGO and large corporate accounts.
  • Work Underwriting and CRM colleagues to drive internal communication and external communication on financials results per accounts

-Mission “Change”:

  • Support development and implementation of new automatic processes in liaison with IT team and Underwriting team (SQL, VBA)
  • Participate in any and all cross-disciplinary Project Groups as may be required from time to time.
  • Develop and implement a robust set of portfolio monitoring and reporting tools for Paris, Dublin and Dubai.

Profil recherché

  • Strong skills in SQL and VBA / datamining / data analyst
  • Experience in Health & Life risks
  • Proven track record of accelerated , profitable growth
  • Experience of working internationally
  • Preferably Degree and / or professional insurance qualification (e.g. CII)
  • Strong communication (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
