About the position 🎯

We are seeking a proactive, KPI-driven Website Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust mix of technical, marketing, and managerial skills to manage and optimize our website to align with our business goals. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented individual who can adapt to new technologies and trends while ensuring the highest-quality output.

You are part of the marketing team and report directly to the VP of marketing, along with the head of demand gen, head of marketing ops, head of content and Chief Storyteller.

Website Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and manage the website strategy with business goals in mind (traffic and conversion).
  • Oversee website redesigns, updates, and the creation of new pages designed to promote our features and benefits.
  • Manage requests for website changes, ensuring they align with company priorities. Ensure execution of the same.

SEO and Content Management:

  • Measure and optimize organic traffic generation efforts and SEO strategies in collaboration with the content team

User Experience and Conversion Optimization:

  • Track and optimize user journeys for better user experience and conversion rates.
  • Identify critical conversion and drop-off points, implementing strategies to optimize user funnels.
  • Create and deploy landing pages, coordinating copywriting and design in collaboration with the Demand Gen and Marketing Ops teams..

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other platforms to monitor website performance.
  • Measure and report on website-related KPIs and metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify issues and opportunities and improve our website's performance in attracting and converting our ideal customers.

Technical Management:

  • Maintain and optimize website speed and performance, including caching, image optimization, and CDNs, in collaboration with the tech team and our website dev team.
  • Ensure website security and compliance with legal standards, such as GDPR and ADA.
  • Manage web hosting services, domain registration, and overall site performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, customer support) to align website requests with business goals.
  • Educate and evangelize various teams on website-related best practices and issues.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for minor adjustments and effective developer communication.
    • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or others.
    • Knowledge of web hosting services and domain management.
  • Marketing and SEO:
    • Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO.
    • Experience in digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing.
    • Familiarity with online advertising platforms like Google Ads and social media advertising.
  • Analytical and Design Skills:
    • Proficient in using analytics tools to monitor performance and surface insights.
    • Understanding of UX/UI design principles and basic graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
    • Ability to implement CRO strategies, including A/B testing and user journey mapping.
  • Managerial and Soft Skills:
    • Strong project management skills, preferably with tools like Trello, Asana, or JIRA.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
    • Attention to detail, adaptability, creativity, and critical thinking abilities.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot and SalesForce.
  • Understanding of web security issues and GDPR compliance.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (Semrush, Ahrefs) and data visualization tools (Looker).
  • Ability to assist in running and optimizing paid programs and campaigns.
  • Ability to use Figma

    • Obsession about measuring website data, KPIs and how to improve them.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changes in the digital landscape.
