YOUR MISSION

Over the years, Atoti+ has proven to be the best solution for analysing terabytes of data in an interactive way. However, even with the advent of machines with tera-bytes of RAM, it cannot handle the petabytes of data that solutions like Google BigQuery can store. Solving this problem currently requires preparation work to either filter or pre-aggregate data.

ActiveViam wants to combine the best of both worlds and enable our Atoti+ solution to directly leverage the storage and compute capabilities of cloud databases like Snowflake or Google BigQuery.

Within a newly-created team of 3 - 5 people in our R&D department, working directly with the CTO, you will build the next solution for multi-dimensional analysis, combining the technology of cloud storage with the performance of Atoti+.
Within a fast-paced environment with a start-up atmosphere, you will find ways to query and pull data from cloud storage at maximum speed to power the unique features of Atoti+.

YOUR PROFILE

Graduated from a top-10 engineering school
Proven programming skills with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, Rust with object-oriented design
Good analytical and communication skills

Ideally, you also have:

1+ year of professional software development experience
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, availability, and internet and OS security fundamentals
Experience with some of the major Cloud Providers (GCP or others) or Snowflake
