The Transport Planning Senior Specialist with French is responsible for the planning of all domestic transport orders for finished goods and empty goods, at the best total price and the highest efficiency for the Belgian market as part of a 24/7 operational supply chain. You assure that transport is able to follow the need of our customers, productions, repack, copacker and warehouses while taking the customer’s delivery date and requirements into account (internal and external). You will perform daily planning and follow up on its execution together with Order Management, Inventory Deployment and different warehouse teams.

What will you be doing:  

  • Capture all transport requests and changes via e-mail/request form/phone/Lync and enter them into the transport planning and the systems

  • Able to manage slot bookings and adherence to them to your different carriers

  • Monitor daily transport execution, solve arising issues and answer to ad-hoc requests.

  • Communicate efficiently and clearly to all stakeholders to align on transport plan and follow up on the execution and changes.

  • Ensure correct payments of shipments by collaborating with the admin department and informing them about specialties in the execution.

  • Working with fellow team members in order to manage the day-to-day workload.

  • Drive process improvements and standardizations.

  • Stakeholder management  - Order Management team, Inventory Deployment team, Procurement, Reporting & Admin teams, the carriers, breweries and warehouses across the region.

What you’ll bring:  

  • French at C1 level or higher is mandatory alongside English at C1 level

  • Experience within logistics area for 1-2  (FMCG preferred)

  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.

  • Experience within SAP or TMS environments is a plus

  • The ability to adapt your time schedule to the needs of the business in case of operational urgencies

  • Acting and thinking fast regarding last minute changes and requests: problem solver

  • Stress resilient

  • Flexible to adapt working hours to business needs (depending on team deadlines, seasonal activity or bank holiday calendar of the country you work for)
