Build the sales and distribution strategy for the UK market and advise the European HQ team on the relevant product specifications required (product, pricing, marketing etc) to succeed
Manage your own P&L and local budget to drive the key objectives in the market, generating relevant management reports for the Global Head of Sales and CEO

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Facing activities

  • Develop exceptional customer relationships across the key channels; foodservice, retail and ecommerce – working closely with Supply Chain, Marketing and Product Development teams to deliver the UK plan. Build the sales and distribution local strategy mapping specifications (product, quality, legal, etc) and ensure La Vie FOODS address them
  • Drive new sales: close and onboard new customers at a rapid pace in food service and retail, using traditional and creative sales methods. Present products, conduct category reviews, use other related information with clients to gain sales and establish accounts, generate high qualify leads and close major deals

Internal duties

  • Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure forecasts are accurate and exceptional service is maintained. You will ensure that customer service is at the heart of the brand
  • Conduct relevant sales reviews with key accounts and distributors as well as presenting market updates to the European HQ team
  • Working closely with the European talent team, you will be responsible for developing a world class sales and marketing organization – but be prepared to roll your sleeves up and lead from the front!

Profil recherché

COMPETENCIES

  • A strong sales leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and relevant experience growing a brand in the world of food and drink
  • 10+ years of FMCG experience with a proven track record of delivering high levels of growth with your customers
  • Direct experience of targeting, engaging and winning new business
  • Passionate about food
  • Strong analytical skills and a metric based, results driven approach. You will need to be autonomous, proactive and organized
  • Strong leadership qualities and a high-level emotional intelligence that enables you to build powerful relationships at different levels of the industry
  • Ability to give and receive feedbacks
  • Fluent English is a must
