With our increasing numbers of customers (1500+ client companies in 160 countries, 2.5M registered users, 30k daily active users) and increased user requests, the 360Learning security became a major challenge in 2021.

Our Chief Security Officer and our Security Engineer are already working on building the security governance, the process and started conducting our own security audits. But since 360Learning keeps scaling, the Security team needs to grow as well, the addition of a brand new DevSecOps is key to our strategy. At the crossroads between security, devops and software, this is a unique opportunity to : 

Act as a technical referent within the security team : Operate and maintain your security data lake with object storage buckets and search engines like ElasticSearch or Splunk. Choose autonomously the most relevant technologies to monitor and audit all our assets. Create a powerful SIEM…

Strengthening cooperation between DevOps and the Security team: By offering help on security projects like operating secret vaults, hardening Linux systems and containers, you will collaborate with our DevOps team and help them improve our practice, IaC code and tooling. 

Strengthening cooperation between Developers and the Security team: By helping on CI/CD mechanisms like static code analysis, third party vulnerability fixing tools, you will collaborate with our developers team and make their life easier by simplifying security checks and remediation. In other words, make security easy for all our engineers.

Within 1 month, you will

  • Become a Trello expert through our onboarding process
  • Understand our infrastructure offering through training
  • Meet the global team through virtual coffee meets and happy hour
  • Within 3 months, you will

  • Understand the teams processes (DevOps, devs, security)
  • Improve tools for managing our infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible
  • Answer to internal technical security requests about our infrastructure like how to improve API authentication mechanism
  • Within 6 months you will

  • Show your technical skills by  architecturing and building the first bricks of our SIEM with Object buckets, Search engines of your choice
  • Improve production security tools (Sonar Cloud, Renovate)
  • Within 12 months, you will

  • Implement an operational  security monitoring dashboard
  • Make sure the number of vulnerabilities in production have decreased thanks to your CI/CD improvements
  • Ensure security efficiency on the production infrastructure thanks to your IaC improvements
  • The Skillset

  • You have a well-rounded experience in IaC architecture, ideally within a Product-Led Growth company and ideally know Ansible and Terraform
  • "Hands-on", you are used to working on complex codebases with an emphasis on software quality
  • You are automation minded and know Cloud environments (ideally AWS and Microsoft Azure)
  • You have some skills in software development (no need to be a dev guru but you can understand code and develop scripts)
  • You know how to manipulate large sets of data and how to interpret them 
  • You have an experience in a security team or you were a security technical referent
  • Fluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR)
