We are looking for our head of platform and infrastructure. You cater to our own developer's needs, by owning all things infrastructure and driving the platform that our delivery teams leverage in their day-to-day activities.

To be successful in this role, you are a strong proponent of platform engineering, you are confident in serving tech teams, good at juggling multiple products, and great at scaling and maintaining high-growth products.

Responsibilities

- Ensure reliability of our infrastructure

- Help our delivery teams in becoming more autonomous and ensure they can deliver their best work by spotting and alleviating blockers, setting the right tools and processes, and coaching teammates.

- Oversee the development of the different platforms our engineers rely on and build a world-class developer experience

- Contribute to a Secure Software Development Lifecycle.

- Hire outstanding engineering talents and scale our tech team across Europe and the Middle East.

- Contribute to the company's technical culture and be responsible for the success and personal growth of our engineers and raising the bar of technical excellence.

- Review architecture of products and suggest improvements

- Work with the product team to plan and oversee the execution of the product roadmap and contribute to designing strategies for future developments

‍‍Experience and Skills

- 15+ years experience in IT focused on infrastructure. Work experience as a head of the infrastructure, head of the platform, or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department

- Successful track record in building platform teams

- Extensive experience with cloud technologies, microservices architecture, continuous delivery, and DevSecOps practices

- Deep understanding of platform architecture and platform mechanics

- Ability to grasp complex strategy issues and turn this into a technology product roadmap

- Good understanding of agile methodologies

- Leadership abilities with a strategic mind

- Excellent project management skills, ideally experience managing remote teams.

- Experience in a rapidly growing company in the mobility, on-demand or fintech space is a plus

- BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field
