We are looking for a talent to work as a “China eBusiness Manager implant” within the team of one of our client.
The mission is primarily focused on the orchestration of the cross-border development of our client’s business, after a succesful one year ago. You are part of the the Marketing & eBusiness team of a beauty, healthcare & wellness brand.
The mission involves Tmall Global and the leveraging of a full digital ecosystem (drivers, performance, banners, content seeding). The launch and operation is managed by the brand distributor on the local market.
The brand is aiming to diversify its business drivers by developping new partnership & touchpoints: affiliates, resellers, social commerce…
In parallel with the e-commerce opening, the brand has been building its own social footprint & strengthening the share of voice in the market. The aims will be to fuel branded, localized and relevant content across different platforms - Weibo, WeChat, RED - as well as building a strong influencer program with bloggers, live-streamers, KOCs…
In this position, the implant from WITH will help the brands on its China eBusiness operation as detailed below:
Globally
_ Participate on the merchandising strategy for the Chinese market: competitive review, brand positionning, highlight of the range to focus on, definition of the hero SKUs, select the right moments to activate campaigns, and so on.
_ Identify new streams of revenues (ie. social commerce), build the scenario, P&L, ressources and implement it. Then be in a test & learn approach to identify if the business model is sustainable
_ Analyze thoroughly the data of the e-commerce and social operations and provide recommendations around investments, festivals to tackle, content directions, merchandising opportunities…
_ Provide guidance on the marketing investments on the platforms (ie. influencers, Tmall drivers, social ads, …), validate touchpoint ventilation and monitor the performance to propose quick adjustments if needed. Monitor the execution of such investments to ensure the best reach.
On Tmall
_ Support the distributor in building a brand relevant & impactful plan on Tmall to be presented to the Tmall Global Management team for launch and animation during the whole year - across marketing drivers to leverage, storytelling angles, key moments to animate with relevant products, ways to engage & retain customers.
_ Follow the creative process with the distributor to produce the relevant assets to animate the brand flagship store. Facilitate the understanding of the brand needs, provide benchmarks, do’s and don’ts to ease the asset conceptions.
_ Also provide guidelines to control the customer experience (brand page, product pages, …) and interactions on the platforms (pushed through brandzone animation and pull through before & after sales) handled by distributor.
On Social Media
_ Co-design with the distributor relevant social media strategies to animate the brand from editorial content to implementation, community management, growth hacking technics.
