This position’s primary purpose is to be responsible for improving the sales growth targets in the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics markets within Switzerland, to enable Veolia Water Technologies (VWT) to grow market share in a professional, profitable and sustainable manner.
The ideal candidate will be involved in an existing French Sales Team and he will gain support, tecnhical guidance and sales coaching by his Teams Mates (Sales and Execution).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (technical, financial, safety, quality)

  1. Commercial:

developing key contacts with potential customers and engineering companies / consultants starting from scratch in Switzerland ;
Getting tenders or RFQs from the pharmaceutical companies ;
preparing the technical and commercial offers with internal/external suppliers and with partners (piping companies, electricity and automation) ;
presenting and negociating the offer with the supervision of the manager according to the margin goals of the BU ;
respecting the sales process and supporting the commercial innovation and margin building (value) to secure key orders/accounts and to enable more effective performance and market penetration.

  1. Partnership :

Identify and create a network of potential sub contractors within piping and electricity companies, able to deliver good services within the pharmaceutical industry, in order to propose turn key contracts.

  1. Legal :

Negociating according to the legal “Golden rules “ of Veolia, compliance and code of conduct.

  1. Veolia Group Collaboration

Network with other Veolia entities in the country to get relevant commercial information. Collaborate with internal suppliers to build up the best technical offer.

  1. Key account management

Work in cross coordination with Veolia Group, global account directors to promote the activities of VWT, and identify and manage Swiss regional account plans and growth objectives.

  1. Reporting and Forecasting.
    (a) CRM: Developing and maintaining an accurate summary of all Pharmaceutical and related orders, enquiries and key account activities in the Skywater CRM, defining the market KPI’s and producing a monthly status report commenting on orders won and lost, and an update on priorities and forecast for the next reporting period.
    (b) Monthly update on any other significant market development activity e.g. customer issues, competition, regulations, new technology etc.
    (c) Working with your manager to summarise local market trends and performance as a whole including performance against budgeted VWT target, and to set up any action plans necessary to achieve the targeted results in future.

  2. Marketing with the support of the FBS marketing team :
    (a) VWT brand positioning. Maintaining strong awareness of VWT brand position and working with your manager and FBS Marketing to recommend relevant marketing and communication action plans to keep VWT at the fore front of the market.
    (b) Assisting with communications events such as seminars, presenting papers and exhibitions as required.
    (c) Report to your manager within the local French Sales Team to develop the future product, technology and services evolution, including the sourcing of potential external partners.

Requisitos

The role also requires that you demonstrate :

A passion for development within the parmaceutical companies and building of an effective network
Good technical knowledge and experience of water treatment, specializing in pure water production, including the ability to make the relevant calculation and use of Autocad
Some record and experience in the Swiss pharmaceutical markets, particularly in sales or support of engineered technologies and services to top tier clients
Excellent communication & negotiation skills, ability to report to the management
Be results oriented and have a ‘can do’ attitude
Excellent problem solving capacity
Understanding and use of the French and German swiss language is essential but additional languages is required (English)
Good literacy and numeracy skills
PC Literate
Engineering Degree or equivalent
