Swan is looking for its first Business Account Manager to nurture relations with its partners (customers), help them market Swan’s offering, understand their needs & upsell them new features. In addition, being the first member of the team, you will have the opportunity to build the organisation from the ground up. Based in Paris, you’ll be in charge of managing our existing relationships across Europe.

This is a key role for us, since we sell our product through a B2B2X model. This means we sell our infrastructure to our partners, who integrate Swan’s product into their own product, and then sell the Swan features to their own end customers.

As such, we’re looking for someone who will be able to optimize this B2B2X model and who will make sure our partners get the most out of Swan’s APIs. Similarly to a classic Account manager, you will be the main point of contact for our partners, you will maintain a great relationship with them etc. On top of this, you will help our partners be efficient in selling to their own end customers.

We need a curious person with an entrepreneurial mindset, willing to learn and comfortable with the technical aspects of our product, a strategic thinker able to understand our partners’ markets and a team player who will partner with our product, sales and marketing teams (among others).

Here is a snapshot of some of the responsibilities you will have:

  • Be accountable for increasing revenue through end customer penetration rates amongst existing partners
  • Be accountable for increasing revenue through upselling of new features
  • Develop a consultative and solution-based sales approach to help our partners market banking offerings
  • Maintain great relationships with existing and new partners
  • Bring learnings from partners to fuel discussions around our sales approach, our product roadmap and our marketing strategy
  • Train teams at our partners to resell Swan’s embedded products & services
  • Develop a playbook of market’s best practices around the use cases we serve (card issuing, vertical banks, integration of payment features in a SaaS product…)
  • Effectively work cross-functionally across the organization to shape Swan’s solutions to meet customer needs

Requisitos

  • 3/4+ years of account/partnership management experience, preferably working with a technical product in a start-up / scale-up
  • Previous experience in an international / European environment
  • Professional proficiency in English + fluent in another European language
  • Passion for startups and new technology businesses
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent team player and fun to work with
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts, and translate them into industry- or business-relevant terms
  • A good understanding of the Fintech ecosystem is a plus
  • A previous entrepreneurial experience is highly desirable
