Overview

As part of the People team you will be responsible for global HR routines and daily cooperation with the Finance team. We have a truly international team spread across 13 countries! The challenge is to have, at the same time, flexible and accurate processes that allow the company to grow fast with consistency.

You will also help us to take our people data reports to a new level, while ensuring that the employees information are always accurate. The SumUp innovation environment is also present in our routine. That means new challenges everyday to deliver the best experience for our employees.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the administration of all People Operations related matters in UK, IE and support our smaller locations all over Europe
  • Ensure that records, contractual changes and other people related documentation are processed and recorded
  • Partner with but not limited to the People Team functions (i.e. Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, People Partners, etc) strategically and operationally to collaborate on all sorts of initiatives / projects to ensure SumUp is the best place to work for our employees
  • Be the first point of contact for employees, once the job offer is accepted and support them through the entire employee lifecycle
  • Manage and partner with external providers, eg. pension provider, health insurances, brokers,
  • Continuously define and improve HR guidelines and help us implement new tools and drive projects company-wide
  • Understanding of HRIS systems (Workday is a plus)

What you are bringing to the table:

  • You have experience working in HR administration, accounting or payroll management, preferably as HR Generalist or similar
  • You have a good knowledge in British regulations related to the Labour Law. Experience with Irish Labour Law will be a plus
  • You are an excellent communicator with active listening and interpersonal skills
  • You love working with people and care about great employee experiences
  • You know how to prioritise to meet deadlines and know when to ask for support
  • You are able to work in a fast paced environment, where accuracy matters
