What will be your mission?

This role is mission critical for our growth in Germany. We want to level-up the way we collaborate and support our client base in order to maximize the impact of our services for the clients and drive the value of the customer for Spendesk:

  • Define what should be the vision, mission and values of the Customer Success department in collaboration with Country Manager, Onboarding Manager, Team Leads and Customer Success Operations and engage the team around it
  • Define the hiring strategy for the different roles in collaboration with Team Leads and  Country Manager and actively driving the hiring process
  • Build, execute and adjust the plan to drive Customer Centricity within your market and beyond
  • Coach and develop the Team Leads to become more efficient leaders
  • Define career path, new roles and skill set for the different roles by taking into accounts business needs and challenges 
  • Drive and support commercial excellence in order to maximise the impact for the clients as well as Spendesk
  • Define with Product Team and Country Manager the routine to get the voice of customers in a consolidated and structured manner
  • Improve the methodologies & playbooks in collaboration with Customer Success Operations and Team Leads to maximise the performance of the team
  • Ensure proper business reporting to Country Manager
  • Your Profile

  • 6+ years experience in Customer Success in a high growth company, preferably in a  software or SaaS environment 
  • 2-3 years of experience managing individual contributors as well as Team leaders or Managers
  • Native in German and professional level in English
  • Deep understanding of the business processes from the moment of the hand-over from sales along the further customer life cycle
  • Deep understanding of how to maximise the impact of SaaS-services for the client and increase customer value by upsells
  • Data driven & process-oriented
  • Deep proficiency in using Salesforce and at ease with BI tools
  • Strong ability to coach and bring teams to higher performance standards and hitting targets
  • Proven track record of sustained target achievement
  • High interest in developing Team Leads and individual contributors to push their careers
