The Head of Sales Spain is responsible for the new MRR generated by the Spanish sales team from
new clients and cross-sell (from existing clients).

His/her top priorities are:

  • Build the sales team in Spain: recruit, train and manage 10-15 people in the next few months
  • Ensure repeatable and predictable revenues by enforcing and improving clear documented sales processes
  • Organize the sales teams for the best outcomes based on the company’s strategy (inbound/outbound, smb/mid-market, territories/industries)

Responsabilities

The Head of Sales Spain responsibilities include:

  • Participate with the Spanish executive team in all strategic decisions
  • Elaborate sales strategies in line with the company’s roadmap
  • Provide reliable monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Set up group and individual targets, compensation and performance plans
  • Structure the various teams (AE, SDR, BDR) for improved efficiency and clear career paths
  • Create an efficient onboarding program for fast ramp-ups (3 months)
  • Champion cross-teams collaboration
  • Ensure a great work atmosphere

Teams Organization

The Head of Sales reports to the Country Manager Spain and is member of the Spanish Exec Team.

He/she will work closely with the Head of Marketing Spain (product marketing, including pricing, sales materials, lead generation, partnerships) and the Spanish Customer Success team (onboarding and product sales).

He/she will also collaborate with the French Sales and Operations team.

The Sales team is provided inbound leads by the Marketing team, outbound leads by the Sales
Operations team and cross-sell leads by the CSM team.

  • Strong experience in B2B Sales (7+ years)
  • Inside sales experience
  • smb + mid-market expertise
  • Has managed a sales team of at least 10
  • High rate hiring experience
  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies
  • Proficient in Salesforce usage
  • Business planning (budget)
  • Strategic thinking
  • Professional level English

Nice-to-have hard skills & experience

  • Has built sales teams from scratch
  • Experience in retail or hospitality industries
  • Experience in Saas
  • Experience in group contracts
  • Has worked in international environments
  • Familiar with SPIN methodology (and others)
