Who are they?

SkillCorner is a French start-up specialising in artificial intelligence (AI) tracking with an expanding global client base and team. The company has built an AI-powered video tracking technology based on deep learning capable of recognizing, positioning and following (in real time), the football players, referee and ball from any match broadcast.

SkillCorner provide performance data and analytics to football clubs and federations around the world, primarily to support player recruitment and scouting, but with cross over to match analysis and coach development.

This is achieved through the provision of deeper technical and tactical insights beyond event level data, or measuring and monitoring the physical performance of players at scale, from any league where broadcast video is available.

Job description

Exact location is flexible as we encourage remote working, although US/Canada is preferred, and travel is required.

SkillCorner is seeking a sales consultant to grow our Soccer business in the United States & Canada via a combination of direct sales, commercial partnerships, and other initiatives. The role requires regular communication with the business development team, while also reporting to the regional business development manager on account and sales activities.


  • Lead generation and conversion
  • Regular presentation of SkillCorner’s value proposition to key stakeholders
  • Delivery of consultancy and reports when required
  • End-to-end ownership of contract process
  • Account management and support
  • Use of analytics to optimise sales performance
  • Cultivating relationships with football clubs, federations, and media partners
  • Monitoring club landscape and communicating trends

Preferred experience

  • Passion and knowledge for Soccer (and other US sports also advantageous)
  • Demonstrable (Soccer) sales and marketing experience
  • Data analysis skills, enthusiasm and interest
  • Football coaching, science and analytics
