SINGULART has turned out to be the leading online art gallery in the world in less than 4 years. We are now moving towards becoming the leading art & design art gallery globally, as SINGULART’s ambition has always been to become a category leader.

As Head of Sales, your main goal is to achieve ambitious growth targets. You effectively guide and develop customer success teams of 30+ Art Advisors by working with team leads that deploy your roadmap.

Together with the Head of Operations and founders, you define SINGULARTs sales and customer success strategy towards nothing less than being a global leader in contemporary art and design online by 2022.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage, hire and develop 4-6 international regional sales leaders (Germany, US, EMEA, ASIA) 
  • Use a data-driven approach to seize high business value opportunities and optimize lead-to-sale conversion
  • Coach customer success teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences that foster SINGULARTs sustainable repeater business
  • Incarnate the right sales and customer success spirit and define operational standards that scale for a team that grows from 20 to 50 Art Advisors within a year
  • Assess performance towards business goals and work with the Head of Operations and founders to share updates and progress of initiatives
  • Generate and leverage client insights cross departments (Supply/Artist Liaison, Marketing, Product, Customer Service/Collector Care, Logistics)
  • Navigate in a fast-paced luxury goods + digital environment of the worldwide leading place to buy contemporary art online
  • What we look for:

  • Management: you already have experience in managing people (more than 15 people) and know how to scale a team
  • Vision and strategy: you are able to formulate a sales vision for your team,  deploy it and show measurable results
  • Professional experience: at least 10 years of experience in an ecommerce company with people responsibility (ideally B2C/Marketplace)
  • Communication: You know communication is key. Being an effective communicator is one of your strongest assets. You have excellent oral & written communication skills in English (German, French, Japanese or Mandarin is a real plus!) 
  • Sales spirit and Can-do attitude: You are a natural leader that knows how to drive teams' performance. You are ready to tackle any challenge on our way to becoming a global leader
  • Data driven: You use data to assess sales pipelines, team results and priorities for operational optimization
