The Job 

As an Account Manager - Artists, you will be part of the Retention Team in the Artist Liaison/Supply department and will work directly with Sandra, the Head of Artist Care. The Retention team is in charge of managing high quality professional artists from all around the world.  

Our common goal: Empower artists through digital! 

Our community of artists is composed of more than10.000 artists from over 130 countries and the Retention Team manages our best selling and most talented artists. 

Today, the Retention Team is composed of 2 different profiles:

- 2 Artist Liaisons: they are responsible for the Performance and Happinessof 1000 of our best artists. Each Artist Liaison has a portfolio of talented artists, their goal is to increase the performance and fetch new artists for the Agency. 

- 3 Account Managers - Artists: they are each responsible for approx. 25 top artists which are part of the Agency. Each Account Manager is also involved in launching and monitoring new actions to enhance the impact of our Agency.

Your responsibility as an Account Manager - Artists of our high-profile artists will be to:

  • Become the privileged contact for these artists at SINGULART (approx. 25 artists), get to know everything about them, their performances (sales, followers etc.), last and future exhibitions, upcoming projects, wins and fails, their biggest dream, maintain a close contact
  • Actively contribute to grow their sales, career and success by working on web marketing actions, partnerships, online and offline events, editorial actions (online articles and press clippings etc.)
  • Identify new growth opportunities for your artists
  • Make sure that their SINGULART portfolio and profile is attractive and always up-to-date for collectors and potential buyers (your role is also about finding ways to incentivize them and give them advice on their portfolio!)
  • Make these artists become SINGULART ambassadors and shine also beyond the gallery
  • Internally, we expect you to:

  • Represent these artists internally, make sure they are working under the best conditions possible and contribute to a smooth collaboration with SINGULART
  • Monitor and report their performance to the team and managers, make sure the agreed goals are met
  • What we look for:

  • Extraordinary interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing artists (visual arts, music, sports, publishing etc.)
  • Sales maniac (you are obsessed with the performance of your portfolio and are always looking for new ways to guarantee the promotion of your artists)
  • Data driven and proven track record in negotiation
  • Fearless and love to find new ways to meet your goals
  • Academic background in art is definitely a plus but not a must
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in German and/or Spanish and/or Italian
  • Excellent at summarizing, reporting and translating what you've learned in a short valuable and easily understandable content for your teammates
  • Open-minded and flexible (we are an international scale-up working with international artists)
