Shipfix is driven by a young entrepreneurial team that combines leading software engineers, data scientists, and industry experts with a shared passion for solving large scale industry challenges, beautiful products, and creating value through customer success.
They operate with a flat hierarchical structure, everyone at Shipfix is fully responsible and truly own outcomes of their work.
Shipfix is structured around 4 main poles:
- Tech: developers, product & QA
- Revenue: sales, customer success and support, marketing
- Operations and finance: legal, talent management, RevOps, finance, security and privacy
- Data: analytics, acquisition, research
Shipfix was founded by Serge and Antoine in late 2018 with a simple mission: to facilitate the trading experience in the dry cargo market. The industry did not evolve since the invention of email so the playground was large. After nearly 3 years of R&D, they validated their initial POC and kicked off the sales process.
Who are they?
- Serge - Co-founder, Co-CEO / Tech & Product: he is in charge of our roadmap, technological innovation and product delivery
- Antoine, co-founder, Co-CEO / Revenues: he is in charge of deploying our product offering to our clients and prospects. He heads the sales, customer success and marketing team
At Shipfix the tech team is composed of product owners, designers, full-stack developers, front and back-end developers as well as data engineers and data scientists.
👉 Their mission is to identify and develop new functionalities. For them it’s all about finding the right balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
🤔 How? They decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, solo or with teammates. For them, technologies and programming languages are about tradeoffs. They may be opinionated, but they're not ideological and can learn new technologies as they go.

At Shipfix the revenue team is composed of sales, Customer Success and Support, marketing, and regional heads (for our global offices)
👉 Their mission is to manage the entire sales cycle from managing our brand image, to optimising client retention. For them it’s all about providing the best possible service to our client and keeping them engaged.
🤔 How? They need to communication effectively to capture their audience with effective storytelling. But they also have to understand their needs so they need to listen to client, understand their problem to show where Shipfix can add value.
