We are a growing team looking for a sales vertical market director to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. You would join our central sales team in the Paris office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a sales vertical market director, you’ll be responsible for leading the new team of global key account managers who will be managing sennder’s largest and most strategic shippers. You’ll be collaborating closely with the senior director of sales, the shipper program team, and the head of customer solution design to ensure your market grows in revenue and increase profitability of our global enterprise customers.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL…

  • Manage a high-performing, senior team that oversees portfolios of the largest, most strategic customers across all of sennder. Focus on Fortune 500 companies and other global brands. May also manage some of the most strategic accounts in their vertical
  • Draw on a deep understanding of the logistics industry, they craft and lead a vision for the growth of their market segment
  • Set the roadmap for the growth of their vertical market. Forecasts and speaks to how their team’s pipeline will perform against budget. Held accountable for this progress by C-level stakeholders
  • Possess deep knowledge of sennder's products and services; can communicate internally and externally how these will transform the industry
  • Advocate fiercely for customers’ pain points to shape sennder's Ops and Tech roadmap
  • Collaborate with Country General Managers to devise win-win strategies for shippers, regional growth, and overall sennder success
  • Regularly engage with senior commercial stakeholders from customers within their team's portfolio. Can tie sennder value propositions to macro trends and customer's mission

PREFERABLY YOU HAVE…

  • 9+ years experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development
  • Logistics experience and excellent understanding of logistics market trends
  • 6+ years experience in managing B2B sales cycles
  • Managing diverse portfolios of EUR 30-100M+ per year
  • 5+ years of experience managing Account Managers or Sales staff with a proven track record of delivering results through their team. Managing managers experience is a plus
  • Excellent English language skills
