Descripción del puesto

ScorePlay is the AI-powered media infrastructure for sports, built to automate the content operations behind the world's biggest sports organizations. We work with 300+ leagues, competitions, teams and broadcasters – including Ligue 1 and Premier League clubs, NBA and NFL teams, the Tour de France, the Australian Open, and leading bodies like UEFA and FIBA – helping them turn every moment on and off the field into high-value, structured content. Our platform brings all their media into one place and makes it effortless to find, edit and share in seconds.

Founded in 2021, we’re a 50-person team based between New York and Paris, growing 2x year over year with 98% retention. We’ve raised $20M+ from top investors including Alexis Ohanian and Harry Stebbing’s 20VC and elite athletes like Kevin Durant, Raphaël Varane, Mario Götze, Nico Rosberg and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

If you’re passionate about sports and thrive in fast-paced environments - and you want to help shape how the next generation of fans experience sports, you’re in the right place. We’re on track to become the global leader in sports media, and this is definitely the best time to join our adventure.

We're hiring an AI Orchestration Lead, a standalone role sitting at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and operations, reporting directly to the CEO. Your mandate: transform how ScorePlay works internally, from what gets automated to how AI compounds performance across every team.

This isn't an experiment or a support function. It's a department.

Why this role exists now: We're at ~50 people. The tools exist. The workflows are mature enough to automate. Without someone dedicated to orchestrating this across the company, AI adoption stays fragmented — different tools, conflicting processes, no compound effect.

Key Responsibilities

Company-wide AI Roadmap

  • Build and maintain ScorePlay's AI playbook: which tools, which workflows, what "good" looks like

  • Define AI strategy in partnership with the CEO: where we go deep, where we standardize, what we skip

  • Run a continuous horizon scan on frontier tooling and surface high-signal opportunities early

AI Engineering & Agent Deployment

  • Design and deploy multi-agent systems that automate high-volume, high-friction workflows across Sales, CS, Marketing, Finance, and People

  • Own the technical architecture for how agents connect to our stack (HubSpot, Notion, Slack, Linear, Granola, n8n, Claude/Anthropic API)

  • Build and iterate on internal tools and Claude-powered automations that reduce manual work and improve output quality

  • Define benchmarks and run evals to measure agent performance: accuracy, reliability, cost, adoption

Head of Department Enablement

  • Run structured weekly syncs with each Head of Department to challenge workflows, validate AI plans, and pressure-test roadmaps before execution

  • Co-design function-specific agent strategies that get used, not just documented

  • Build training materials and onboarding pathways so new hires are productive in our AI stack from day one

Governance & Measurement

  • Define the KPI framework for AI adoption across the company, with revenue per employee as the north star

  • Audit the agent fleet: map every active agent, its permissions, cost, and impact

  • Set guardrails to prevent agent sprawl — redundant tools, conflicting automations, unchecked API costs

  • Report impact to the CEO and leadership on a regular cadence

What success looks like in year one

  • Every department has a functioning AI workflow that's measurably faster or better than before

  • Single AI playbook that every new hire reads on day one

  • Meaningful manual overhead cut from Sales prep, CS health scoring, pipeline management, and reporting

  • Department leaders trust the infrastructure enough to build on top of it themselves

How this role evolves

At 50 people, one person covers all departments.

As ScorePlay grows, the natural evolution is a hub-and-spoke model: dedicated AI Orchestrators embedded in Sales, CS, Marketing, and Engineering, aligned through this role.

You're building the blueprint for how an AI-native company operates at scale.

Who we’re looking for

You're fluent in both business and technology. You can discuss agent architecture with engineers in the morning and redesign a sales workflow with AEs in the afternoon.

You understand that process change is fundamentally a people problem. Bringing along skeptics while pushing those moving too slowly is as central to this role as the technical work.

You prototype fast, iterate, and don't wait for perfect conditions.

Technical Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI automations in a business context - not just prompting, actually shipping

  • Comfortable with API integrations, workflow tools (n8n, Zapier, Make), and LLM orchestration patterns (prompt chaining, RAG, multi-agent handoffs)

  • Familiarity with the Anthropic ecosystem (Claude, MCP, Claude Code) is a strong plus

  • Able to evaluate and benchmark AI tools independently

Business Requirements

  • Strong cross-functional communication — equally effective in a Sales workshop and a technical review

  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment

  • High bias for action; comfortable with ambiguity

Why this role

We're the infrastructure layer for how 300+ sports organizations manage and distribute live media. The product we build is already AI-native. Now we're making the company that builds it AI-native too.

This role has direct access to the CEO, real ownership across all functions, and meaningful scope from day one.

We know many people hesitate to apply if they don’t meet every single requirement on a job description. If you’re interested in ScorePlay but not sure you tick all the boxes, we’d still love to hear from you, this could be the start of a great long-term collaboration.
