SantéVet is the market leader in pet health insurance in France and Belgium, with established operations in Germany and Spain. SantéVet was founded in 2003 in Lyon by Jérôme Salord, and now employs around 400 people in Lyon, Lille, Barcelona and Frankfurt. SantéVet offers a simple but comprehensive suite of pet health insurance solutions that are renewed annually and cover illness, accidents and prevention through three complementary brands: SantéVet, Bulle Bleue and Jim & Joe.

Your working environment

Permanent contract (CDI) in the former Citroën garage in Lyon 7.

Ideal location (tramway at the bottom of the building, metro nearby, 2 steps from Place Bellecour).

Your working days : Monday to Friday

Your responsibility

⋆ Define cloud architecture solutions to make data usable and meet the various project needs and critical business objectives of the company

⋆ Define and select the appropriate patterns and standards for data integration, storage, processing and consumption on our reference cloud data platform (AWS)

⋆ Choose, in agreement with the Head of Architect, the most suitable technical solutions to build a data management architecture

⋆ Supporting the different business areas in their development of data-driven solutions

⋆ Collaborate with the Head of Data in the definition, design, construction and evolution of the company's data platform

⋆ Optimise technically and financially (FinOps) the collection and storage of digital data internal and/or external to the company

⋆ You will manage the implementation and ongoing development of data collection and management tools, taking into account usage and seeking to optimise costs and quality

⋆ You will ensure that the solutions implemented comply with the regulations relating to the collection and use of data (RGPD and PSSI).

⋆ Verify technical functionalities such as scalability, security, performance, resilience, data integrity, traceability...

Your profile

You have proven experience in building, implementing and managing modern data architecture in international and fast-growing organizations ⋆ You know how to apply your technical knowledge of data architecture to the growth of our company ⋆ You have already administered a distributed computing platform ⋆ You know how to model, process and transform but also migrate complex data ⋆ You are familiar with the main Big Data technologies on AWS preferably ⋆ You know how to design a data warehousing solution ⋆ You have experience with DevOps technologies : GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitLab-CI ⋆ Technical and spoken English required.

Desirable: Knowledge of data governance tools ⋆ Experience with SQL (Postgres, MySQL...) and Nosql in production
