General Responsibilities :

Responsible for ensuring a product or service meets the established standards of quality, including reliability, usability and performance required for distribution and the market.

The role of the Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer at Pricemoov is to :

• Ownership of the quality of the whole system: back-end and front-end applications,
• Design and implement automated test scenarios,
• Review requirements and designs of the engineering teams (from QA perspectives),
• Review mock designs from the product teams,
• Ensure that web-application complies to Style Guide rules,
• Approve releases of new functionality into PROD and UAT environments,
• Ownership of new tools, policies, procedures, and regulations for QA,
• Work with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and SRE teams.

Required Experiences :

• Knowledge of one of the following programming languages: Python/TypeScript or JavaScript/Java,
• 5+ years of experience in QA automation,
• Solid track of automated functional testing tools, preferably Selenium,
• Good written and verbal English skills.

Preferred experiences :

• Engineering degree or equivalent,
• Experience in engineering financial applications,
• Experience with QA automation tools (Selenium Test Automation, Squish, CrossBrowserTesting, etc.),
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, or Bash scripting,
• Experience with Linux OS,
• Ability to balance aggressive delivery schedule with maintainable quality code,
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills,
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAWS / GCP experience is recommended,
• Experience with Agile development methods (Scrum).
