Whats the job?

Based in Paris or Hatfield, the IT Infrastructure Analyst, EMEA will report to the Operations Director locally and the Global Corporate Manager of IT based in Vancouver. This role will provide daily IT support to the EMEA region (primarily the UK and France at this stage) and will work with the global team to implement Corporate IT initiatives. There will be frequent travel to our office in Hatfield (located just outside London) so a fluent English and French speaker is essential.

Working with Security & Compliance teams as necessary to support and advance respective initiatives, responsibilities will include the following:

• Managing day to day operations for EMEA region;
• Triaging tickets and working with ticketing system to manage employee requests within defined communication and resolution SLAs;
• Working with NA staff to hand-off tickets between time zones to ensure 24/7 coverage for Corporate IT;
• Partnering with People & Culture to support on-boarding and off-boarding of employees;
• Developing and managing a procedure to maintain technology assets, including licenses and hardware;
• Working with the Corporate IT team to optimise team internal processes and ensure productivity within the team;
• Working within the Corporate IT team to execute on projects and initiatives;

Essential

• Fluent in English & French;
• In-depth knowledge of application and desktop systems and configuration;
• A strong background in installations / upgrades techniques and application management;
• Experience of troubleshooting & diagnosing issues with Windows & Mac systems;
• Able to identify, troubleshoot & solve technical problems while recognising when to ask for help;
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Able to think on your feet in high-pressure situations

Desirable

• Scripting knowledge or knowledge of REST APIs;
• Experience with Windows and Mac systems, Windows Server, and some Linux Server.
