The Key account manager is responsible for brand’s business development of selected Key accounts.

The job scope notably comprises the recommendation, validation, and implementation of correct strategies, focused on the generation of retail sales and financial gains, as well as on the enhancement of the brand image.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

SELL OUT:

• Negotiation of space and positioning, personalization for brick & mortar and E-retail.
• Implementation and perfect execution of the Marketing plans according to guidelines and strategy prepared by the Trade Marketing Team.
• Preparation and negotiation of the trade and e-trade plans per client that will help the brand to be ahead vs the competition.
• Forecasts new campaign by client by reference according to historical sales and product potential and work closely with our supply & demand team.
• Develops Sales & Ranking & Market share per door.
• Follow up & Analysis of sell-out & inventories to propose proper re-assortment of basics by line and by client
• Ensure the right product catalogue in place, aligned to brand’s strategy and markets’ needs through fine analysis of customer trends.
• Take initiative and efforts to develop constructive and effective solutions to any issue that slows down or hamper the procedures and brand activities.
• Visual merchandising follow-up ensuring the respect of the brand guidelines as well as the correct execution of each campaign & elements implementation with the help of the Trade Marketing Team

SALES & PROFIT:

• Full operational P&L Responsibility under Head of Sales supervision
• Preparation of the Budgets per account in line with company guidelines.
• Preparation of the annual negotiation
• Analysis of the profitability of each account in order to propose smart investment supports.
• Follow up of sell-out & inventories for analysis and proper re-assortment of basics by line and by client (Sell in)
• Novelties forecast/follow up by client & by reference according to historical sales and product potential.
• Follow up payments and Days of sales outstanding.
• Ensure all sales and marketing activities are carry out within agreed budgets, coherent volumes and required pay-back within the given time-frame.
• Productivity analysis per door (when possible)

MANAGEMENT & TEAM:

• Direct Management of the Trade and Key Account assistant (intern)
• Close work with the Trade Marketing team
• Analysis of the profitability of each account in order to propose smart investment supports.
• Act as the liaison between retailers and internal teams (Merchandising, Mkt, Finance, Studio), providing trustworthy feedback.

This position reports directly to the Head of Sales


Requisitos

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Languages: Fluent in French and English
• Good negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to develop fruitful and professional relationships with external and internal clients and with retailers
• Excellent understanding of Retail, E-Retail, CRM
• Excellent skills in managing and motivating people
• Business oriented, results driven
• Proficient with numbers, budget, P&L analysis
• High energy level
• Team player
