As an Engineering Lead at Manomano your key responsibilities include

  • Lead a Team of 4-7 engineers to achieve the Team’s and Gear’s Objectives and KPIs
  • Design and develop features with a high quality standard along with other leads and architects
  • Assimilate business context and company expectations to be creative and relevant
  • Learn & teach through code reviewsImprove the quality and testing of technical components
  • Deploy your code up to production and be involved in monitoring it

    • The Must Haves. As the Engineering Leader of one of the Feature Teams, some of the traits that we would be looking for are :

  • 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer. 
  • 1+ years of experience leading Agile Teams
  • Soul of a leader and like to drive teams 
  • Creative / Innovative Data Driven in decision making
  • Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture: DDD, SOLID, Distributed Systems, Event/Stream based architectures.  
  • Fluent in english 
  • Autonomous and adaptable (able to work in a constantly changing environment)
  • Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a good sense of humor!

  • Curious with a strong desire to test and experiment new solutions in your work 
  • New technologies / e-commerce have no secrets for you 
  • Experience with Hiring / Performance Management

  • Polyglot Systems - We use Java, Kotlin, Golang and PHP
  • Event Driven Architecture - Kafka, Flink, RabbitMQ
  • Data Persistence - CQRS, Redis, Postgres, MongoDB
  • Containers deployed in AWS - EKS and ECS
