We are looking for someone with a solid experience in software development who is willing to help shape the future of tech at Malou.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of talented software engineers.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, assisting engineers in enhancing their software development skills and achieving their full potential.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and operations.

  • Keep hands on the codebase and help develop new features / improve quality.

  • Discuss and help implement strategic technical choices.


Requisitos

☝️ Qualities

  • You love optimizing stuff. You can’t stand a page taking too long to load or a response payload containing too much stuff.

  • You like to explain how you did something. You like to discuss about technical choices, new techniques, coding patterns.

  • You always make sure everything is reviewed and tested before going live.

  • You like solving problems by facing a screen with someone else and collaboratively working through the code until a solution emerges.

💪 Experience

  • You have at least four years of experience.

  • You have excellent proficiency in a backend and a frontend framework.

  • You have good expertise in a cloud environment.

  • You are proficient in using an automated testing framework (jest / cypress).

  • You have experience in helping junior engineers grow their development skills.

  • You are in love with clean code practices and design patterns.

  • You can implement a CI/CD workflow.

  • You have a good understanding of monitoring.

  • You have knowledge of UX principles.
