What you’ll do:

  • Perform day-to-day investigations on our data, impulsed by other teams as well as by your own initiatives
  • Write clear and impactful reports on your findings to efficiently communicate with other teams and influence our business
  • Develop dashboards and data modeling related to our ever-growing array of features (right now our US launch is a big topic ;))
  • Develop ownership of our BI tool, enforcing a high level of relevance, quality and documentation
  • After being extensively trained on our tools, step in to train other Jow employees, with the ambition of helping Jow be a data-driven company across the board
  • Depending on your profile and tastes, stints into Data Engineering or Data Science are possible

Requisitos

Ideal profile:

  • You are a highly organized and rigorous analyst
  • You can gain relevant insights from datasets and go beyond initial expectations to bring value to other teams
  • You have solid SQL skills (we will test it)
  • You enjoy communicating data insights through relevant visualizations
  • You can tell us about a project where you managed a dataset of some sort (Have you ever created a database of any sort? Managed a back office? Organised a data catalog ?)
  • You are humble - skilled but eager to learn! Here at Jow, we are united and listen to each other. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts
  • You are curious - we work on very different tasks and with diverse people. You are eager to know more about mobile apps, recipes or retail

Proceso de selección

  • First interview with the team to talk about you, Jow, and the position itself.

  • This will be followed by a technical test.

  • Lunch with the team: we want you to be happy to see our teamates every morning, so one of the very first thing we check is the cultural fit. We have a “no brilliant jerk” rule. Being nice, cool and humble is as mandatory as being good at what you do ;-)

  • Final meeting with Antoine, our CTO.

  • Welcome!
