HOLLIS & BEAN (www.hollisbean.com) is seeking a Commercial Director. Their mission is to scale up our business with existing and new clients and to cement our position as the go-to agency in Paris for English-language content strategy and production.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Attract new clients with a focus on CAC 40 companies in France and large Swiss multinationals
• Establish the agency as the clear premium choice for its areas of expertise
• Manage prospection from A-Z, including contracting with new clients
• Develop and lead pitches
• Act as the principal commercial point of contact for existing and future clients
• Anticipate client needs and identify new ideas to increase sales
• Build solid relationships marked by frequent communication between the agency and client teams in order to ensure the account’s long-term success
• Write quotes and manage negotiations with clients
• Increase sales and ensure the profitability of the agency’s accounts in line with the budget
• Work with the agency director to develop the agency’s commercial strategy and positioning

The Commercial Director is a key member of the leadership team. The successful candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

• A proven track record of sales within a communications agency
• Natural authority and an ability to lead
• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with genuine enthusiasm for helping clients reach their goals; someone who is team-minded and respectful of colleagues and suppliers
• Ability to build and develop strong client relationships
• Fluent spoken and written French and English
• Masters from a recognised French or international business school or university
