    Dija aims to provide the best grocery experience by delivering products for the freezer, fridge and cupboard with carefully selected staples and new favourites. Customers will receive their groceries (no substitutions or missing items) in 10 minutes, after buying online or on the app.

    Job description

    Directly reporting to the General Manager your role is to drive customers to our app and website, helping the team to make Dija the clear leader of a competitive market.

    As the first member of the Growth team in the country you must be able to have a high level vision, set up and implement long term plans but also to make it happen on a day-to-day basis.

    The right candidate will be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting and have strong analytical skills. He or she must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced environment. He or she should be entrepreneurial with the confidence to make independent, data-driven decisions.

    The candidate must demonstrate the ability to succeed at:

    • Planning and forecasting
    • Defining and implementing strategies
    • Full ownership of KPIs

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Define the growth strategy and prioritization of all activations according to their business potential and complexity
    • Implement this strategy in collaboration with the Tech and Operations teams,
    • Evaluate performance through the implementation of advanced reporting in collaboration with the Data teams.

    He or she must be able to develop clear thinking and business rationale for new features & services to bring customers ease-of-use and innovation with a razor sharp focus on solving for the customer while driving operational excellence in execution.

    The candidate must be an effective communicator in working with some of Dija’s most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and groups.

    The candidate must have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of successful project ownership using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.

    Preferred experience

    • 2 years experience in a similar role 
    • You speak English and French fluently
    • You have excellent interpersonal skills and; you are autonomous, proactive and capable of unblocking complex situations.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage large onboarding programs to train and onboard high performing employees.
    • Your good humor, your dynamism make you the engine of the team. You are humble, benevolent, well organized.
