Human Resources & Administration Officer, APAC

MISSIONS

  • Perform activities with the guidance of the Central team in Paris and report directly to the Human Resources Manager, APAC;
  • Support the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, compensation & benefits, training & development, performance management and employee relations;
  • Follow through the recruitment matters for retail and junior office positions from job posting to on-boarding;
  • Administer monthly payroll, pensions, taxation, leave & benefit administration and reports;
  • Liaise with third-party service providers for HR and payroll related matters in complying with legal requirements on the local level;
  • Maintain up-to-date employee information on the database with accuracy;
  • Manage and maintain good filing of employment contracts and staff files;
  • Assist in drafting, formulating and implementing on HR policies and procedures;
  • Assist in year-end assignments, including but not limited to HR audits, insurance renewal etc.;
  • Handle visa application & renewal for expatriate employees for the region and provide support for relocation if necessary;
  • Take an active role in organizing company activities and employee relations events;
  • Provide general administrative support to the APAC offices, including but not limited to maintenance of office equipment, replenishment of supplies, office renovation etc.;
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for quotation, price negotiation, renewal, service provisions and support evaluation of the services provided by these vendors/service providers;
  • Maintain an up-to-date vendor list, filing of document and contracts;
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments when required.

PROFILE

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as HR generalist, preferably in retail industry;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin); 
  • A strong communicator with good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the employees with diverse background;
  • Knowledge with Hong Kong and/or any Employment Ordinates across the APAC;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly in Excel) and Google Suites;
  • A good team player, energetic and highly motivated;
  • Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced / start-up environment.
