atoti combines a data visualization platform with an aggregation engine. It’s a bit like a mix of pandas and Power BI, available from a Python notebook, with native multidimensional and what-if analysis support.

atoti is powered by ActiveViam’s high performance and flexible in-memory aggregation engine. It is available for free to help data scientists and data engineers around the world solve complex analytical problems faster. atoti also has an enterprise edition used by big companies to put business-critical dashboarding applications in the hands of their users.

YOUR MISSION

Within the atoti team (3 - 5 people) in our R&D department, you will:
● Take part in the design decisions and implementation phases required to make atoti the go-to analysis platform for even more use-cases.
● Strive to preserve atoti’s simplicity and high performance.
● Stay up to date with the data-engineering (Apache Arrow, Apache Spark, new releases of pandas, etc.) and cloud ecosystems (AWS S3, Azure, GCP, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.) to maintain atoti’s top-notch interop with these technologies.
● Apply DevOps best practices to streamline the deployment and monitoring of large atoti projects in the cloud (e.g. with Kubernetes or cloud vendor specific services).
● Interact with ActiveViam’s teams in our offices in New York, Paris, Singapore, and London.

Your Profile
● Passion for learning new technologies and mastering them.
● Master of computer science (engineering school).
● 3+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally fullstack with Python.
● Advanced knowledge of Java or of a similar lower-level & performance oriented language like C++ or Rust.
● Knowledge and/or interest in modern web technologies (TypeScript and React) to contribute to the integration of ActiveViam’s web platform to atoti.
● Knowledge and/or interest in Kubernetes or cloud services to ensure best-in class deployment of atoti projects in the cloud.
● Knowledge and/or interest in DevOps to keep improving our CI and continuous release workflows.
