Your Mission

Yubo’s Community Team’s role is to help improve, diversify and customize our user experience.
Under the supervision of the UK Community Manager, you’ll be joining a team of 6 badass, creative and determined team members that are responsible for interacting with our users on a daily basis and engaging them through interactive live streams and online events. As Junior Community Specialist, your role is strategically essential for us to better address our community needs within the UK market (our 2nd biggest market today).
You’ll also work closely with all members of our marketing department (including specialists in PR, growth marketing, brand marketing, social media and content creation).

Our responsibilities

  • Participate into developing and implementing the strategy of Yubo’s Community department
  • Build and grow our community in-app in the UK through meaningful content and interactions
  • Develop a key understanding on dynamics that rule Yubo in the UK within the community and make strategic contributions to encourage positive changes
  • Help to secure inspiring ambassadors for the platform
  • Organise online events (debates, games, concerts etc.) to engage the Yubo community

Your qualifications

  • A first successful experience working as a Community Specialist for an app, a startup, a tech or an entertainment company (internship counts!!)
  • Passion for bringing online communities together and engaging with them
  • Identifying yourself as a good representative of Gen z
  • Extensive knowledge of Discord, having your own Discord server is a plus
  • Being active on social platforms such as TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, and Snapchat.
  • Understanding of the streaming ecosystem
  • Creative thinker that brings innovative ideas to better reach our audience
  • Very organized, comfortable with running multiple overlapping projects
  • A good fit with Yubo’s key values (results-oriented, team player, accountability, transparency)
  • Multilingual abilities is a plus but not essential
