The position

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager APAC to lead our APAC exponential growth and expansion.

As Marketing Manager APAC you will be responsible for planning all field marketing activities across APAC to drive awareness, and pipeline for YesWeHack. Activities include, but are not limited to, public relations, social media, industry events (virtual/in- person), third party sponsorships, webinars, and all things marketing in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute the overall marketing plan for APAC with input and expertise from the local team and alignment with the global marketing organization.
  • Research, recommend, and manage events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates.
  • Ensure timely upload of marketing leads in our CRM/MAP and works with Sales Ops and the local team for follow-up/tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to support the regional goals and programs, including webinars, product announcements, email campaigns, customer references, social media and PR campaigns.
  • Leverage social media to raise awareness and further promote our presence in the region.
  • Drive the localisation process for all assets and provide inputs on localisation requirements.
  • Research, select, negotiate, and manage vendors, contractors, and services for local marketing needs.
  • Provide marketing support to the sales organization throughout the region.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities in the region.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on marketing programs and regional results.
  • Manage regional budget, accurately estimate costs, and manage execution.
  • Additional duties as directed by the Leadership Team.

Preferred experience

  • Excellent verbal/written English skills (every additional Asian language will be a plus)
  • 3+ years of direct experience in a B2B Field Marketing or similar role, ideally for security or Tech/SaaS start-up / scale-up companies.
  • Tech savvy and experienced with MAP/CRM (Hubspot), Webinar applications (Zoom), Social Media platforms for organic and paid (LinkedIn), and for the tools you don’t have experience with, you’re not afraid to dig in and learn them.
  • Strong problem solver with can-do attitude, and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently but also highly collaborative across functions, cultures and geographies.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, resourceful, and creative with a bias for action.
