The position

Job description

Being part of Welcome to the Jungle team in Czechia, you will closely work with the support functions, and you will directly report to our Country Manager.

As accountant, you will have the responsibility to manage local financial processes (bookkeeping, suppliers’ payments, cut off journal entries, payroll outputs), in relation with the Headquarters, and with our local partners. Your role will be key to ensure a smooth follow-up of the financial topics between the Headquarters and the local subsidiary.

On a day to day basis, your missions will be to :

  • Receiving and gathering all invoices
  • Depositing the invoices on all our tools (Dropbox and accounting firm Portal)
  • Checking the payment of invoices (processed by accounting firm)
  • Challenging the budgets (make sure all budgets are correctly fulfilled)

Procurement & Cash

  • Taking part in our P2P process
  • Reviewing the expense reports (from staff members)
  • Keeping the cash register
  • With Honza the CEO of CZ subsidiary – day to day cash management, to prepare the funding’s requests (from HQ in France)
  • Debit card management (and associated receipts to collect)
  • With accounting firm – making sure that all the supporting documentation is collected and sent to accounting firm

Account Receivable

  • Challenging the estimates from our CRM in collaboration with the Account Managers and Sales Teams
  • Issuing invoices from Helios (the accounting tool)
  • Sending invoices to our customers
  • Processing the recoveries actions
  • Collaborating with the Account Managers and Sales Teams in CZ (to guarantee that all the good practices related to our invoicing process are correctly applied)

Accounting

  • Providing trusted financial information
  • Collaborating with the Finance Team in France and with an accounting firm for many topics (revenue, expenses, cash, budgets, etc.)
  • Analyzing the accounting data (cut off, missing documents, etc.)
  • Meeting the monthly and yearly deadlines defined by the HQ
  • Making sure that all the accounting documentation is stored on our Dropbox

Preferred experience

  • previous experience in accounting,
  • Skills in local tax management,
  • You are known for your excellent interpersonal skills which will ease the exchanges and communications with other internal teams, and towards our clients,
  • Ability to work in Excel or Google sheet
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of Helios would be a plus
