The position

Job description

At Witco, we are transforming the way people experience their work environment. Our SaaS platform is used in 1,000+ buildings across 10+ countries to centralize communication, manage spaces, and enhance employee engagement.

We are now looking for a Stack Lead – Frontend Developer to drive technical excellence in one of our product squads. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys building clean, scalable interfaces and leading engineering initiatives.

Your Mission

As a Stack Lead Frontend Developer, you will:

  • Lead the frontend development within a cross-functional squad (PO, Designers, Backend Developers)
  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable features using React and TypeScript
  • Define and ensure application-wide frontend best practices (performance, testing, accessibility)
  • Contribute to the evolution of our design system and component library
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and VP Engineering on roadmap scoping and technical arbitrations
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and perform code reviews
  • Collaborate with Product and UX to build intuitive and beautiful user interfaces

Our Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, Webpack, Figma, Storybook
  • Backend: Node.js (NestJS), PostgreSQL
  • CI/CD & Monitoring: GitHub Actions, Azure, Datadog, Sentry
  • Collaboration: Notion, Slack, Jira

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including 3+ years with React
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript, state management, and performance optimization
  • Deep understanding of component-based architectures and scalable design patterns
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Testing Library) and CI/CD workflows
  • A solid eye for design and attention to UI/UX details
  • Ability to lead by example and bring structure to frontend practices
  • Fluent French, and excellent English (our product and tech teams are international)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
  • Familiarity with accessibility and internationalization best practices
  • Contribution to open-source projects or internal design systems
  • Experience in scale-up environments or managing fast-growth product delivery
