Volta Medical is an innovative, data-inspired US and European-based startup aimed at creating and bringing to the market cutting-edge AI software products to revolutionize interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
Volta has created a data collection and enrichment ecosystem for curated EP lab data which is fed into a physician validated, machine learning methodology to support complex AF solutions. Our newest technology, Volta AF-Xplorer, is a data-driven AI decision support system that easily integrates into the standard physician workflow, providing a patient-tailored approach to complex AF and AT procedures.
Our dynamic, innovative team is made up of 100+ collaborators in the EU and USA from a wide variety of backgrounds including engineers, business professionals and physicians, working together to develop AI solutions that help electrophysiologists help patients.
Interested in joining us in this mission? We are looking for a Director of Physician Education to join our US team.
This is a remote role to be based in the US, requiring up to 80% travel, including international travel.
Responsibilities
Track, support and monitor Physician Education Programs including Training Education Center (TEC) visits and continually assess effectiveness and opportunities for improvementProvide guidance and mentorship to Regional Clinical Managers and support staff, ensuring high quality program deliveryAssess the educational needs of physicians and continually improve the Proctorship program based on feedback and evolving industry standards and trendsSupport the VP of Physician Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), young Electrophysiologists (EPs), medical institutions and professional organizations to enhance awareness of Volta and our educational outreachManage the Fellows ProgramAssist the VP of Physician Experience in developing and implementing tools to measure physician satisfaction and identify strategies to improve satisfaction and engagementMaintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors and vendorsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, local, and industry requirements, and with Volta’s policies and processesStay current with industry trends and advancements and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure our program is relevant and compliantRepresent Volta at medical conferences, symposia and other events to promote our product and educational initiatives Profile
An advanced degree in the fields of science, business/marketing, biomedical engineering or related field 10+ years of experience with customer relationship development and building/managing strategic partnerships in the electrophysiology industry At least three years of experience in medical education Strong clinical foundation in EP and a positive reputation in the US EP arena A strong track record of relationship development and maintenance with leading EPs in the US Superior skills in program design and execution and data management Able to consistently instruct and counsel physicians on the use of Volta products in an informative and professional manner Ability to gain a solid understanding of company objectives and develop and manage customer experience strategies accordingly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders Strategic mindset and ability to think creatively and analytically to assess program effectiveness and implement improvements High level of professionalism, integrity and a commitment to continuous learning What we can offer you at Volta Medical
