Job description

In order to support the continuous growth of our business, we are looking for our first payment business analyst to join our Finance team. If you are hands-on, motivated, and forward-thinking, you will find in Virtuo an exciting opportunity to make a real difference with plenty of room to grow.

🎯 Your missions:

  • Analyse and optimise the existing payment setup and methods
  • Elaborate and maintain the payment operation process and documentation
  • Support other teams (Customer support, product, data, accounting…) regarding payment topics
  • Monitor the payment performances for each of our markets and find optimisation, opportunities to increase our conversion rates
  • Provide benchmarks, research, and business cases relative to payment to help the country expansion team make informed decisions
  • Communicate on the implications of new payment methods: addition, new regulations, and compliance matters
  • Own and drive simplification and automation of the payment processes, monitoring/alerting, and tools
  • Establish and own operational relationships with our payment partners to collaborate on optimisation through monthly and quarterly quality reviews
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding debts
  • Search, propose, and implement alternative payment solutions for unpaid invoices

Preferred experience

  • You completed a Master’s Degree
  • You have 2+ years of experience in the payment area
  • Experience with payment service provider platforms
  • You are proactive and demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and deadlines
  • Excellent organisational, verbal, and written communication skills are a must
  • Proficient with SQL and Excel / Gsheet
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills – ideally you have significant experience in Microsoft and Google applications
  • You are detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • You have excellent project management skills
