Job description

The opportunity

You will be responsible for supporting Virtuo’s operations with data insights to improve the impact and efficiency of our teams. You will collaborate closely with different operations teams across Europe to develop a customer-focused and data-driven strategy to enhance customer experience and drive cost efficiency. You will own the quality and consistency of all operations reporting, as well as developing new analyses.

🎯 Your missions:

Ensure high quality operational performance reporting

  • Improve Virtuo’s metrics by analyzing day-to-day business evolution.
  • Lead weekly Ops Performance Review, deep-dive on top-line metrics and funnel KPIs to advise the operations teams in different markets.
  • Promote and develop an efficient usage of tools such as Looker.
  • Develop dashboards to closely monitor each country’s performance. Find issues and propose innovative solutions.

Provide insightful and actionable data analysis

  • Support operations teams in ad-hoc analyses that support strategic decision making.
  • Develop core intuition on business performance, becoming the go-to person on ops performance.
  • Act as an advocate of our data-driven culture, produce reports with insights that are actionable, dashboards that are diagnostic, and recommendations that drive efficiency.

Preferred experience

🌟 You are the ideal candidate if:

  • You have an academic background in Engineering or Business with a focus on Data Analytics
  • You have 1+ year relevant work experience (internships included) in a high-growth business environment/startup or consulting
  • You have a strong business sense and ability to rapidly identify opportunities for improvement with a creative approach
  • You are hands-on attitude and you are not afraid of making mistakes
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral; additional languages are always valued.

Technical knowledge:

  • Passionate about working with numbers; you hold excellent analytical skills, have confidence in working with large data sets and are an expert in SQL and Excel/Google sheets
  • Data Visualization Technologies: Looker or similar alternatives
  • Experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform
