Be the marketer to drive Virtuo’s fame in our home market.
Reporting to our Head of Local Marketing, you will work closely with the Country Manager for France as well as the rest of the marketing team.
As the lead Marketer dedicated to the French market, you will fully own Virtuo’s marketing efforts locally. You’ll be a key component of the local team. You will collaborate with the other marketing team members in central roles in order to ensure the best strategies and execution for France.
We are looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals, with a clear passion for marketing and communication to help in the amazing growth of Virtuo in France.

🎯 Your missions:

As Marketing Manager for France, you will drive concrete, visible results on the awareness and vibrancy of the Virtuo brand, in line with the company vision & mission. You will target highly-qualified audiences at the heart of our key cities.

Define the strategy & drive our awareness locally

  • You will design and execute Virtuo’s visibility and local strategies, including defining relevant audiences and levers to conquer them, including TV, OOH, social, partnerships, stunt, or any other local activation you will come up with.
  • Build an ambassador and influencer strategy to drive awareness and new customer acquisition.
  • Find opportunities to raise our profile via PR and media activations.
  • Coordinate product and city launches as we grow our presence.
  • Be in charge of our social media presence, connecting with key audiences.

Win our core audience

  • Constantly put yourself in their shoes; understand what makes them tick, where they hang out, and how to reach them in the most effective and authentic way.
  • Push and drive things that ‘don’t scale’ to generate vibrancy in the market and get people talking about Virtuo,
  • Build a network of complementary brands to partner with that can help enhance the Virtuo experience and reputation
  • Getting results: Making your ideas work and driving concrete, visible results on customer acquisition of those highly targeted audiences

Be the face and voice of Virtuo

  • Provide insights to central marketing team members so all efforts are aligned and consistent to win in the market - customer attitudes, competition, but also Virtuo’s performance on the market and in the numbers.
  • Mine and share local insights to ensure highly effective marketing communications.
  • Create great content, crafting fresh and impactful messages that attract people in and make them relate with what we stand for, input adaptation of cross-markets content so it resonates for your French audiences.
  • Ensure all copy & messaging is in-line with TOV guidelines
  • Participate in public debate about the future of cities.
  • Be the face of Virtuo at events and represent our brand.

Preferred experience

Have a startup mindset

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience as a generalist and/or focused on operational marketing, in-house or in an agency.
  • Self-starter, autonomous, organized, both a planner and showing agility.
  • Hands-on, eager to make things happen, with a bias for action.
  • Impact driven - able to prioritise on the core actions to drive maximum impact.
  • Match rigor with speed, ensuring all output is delivered on time with the required quality.
  • A startup attitude: a visionary mindset and a problem solver at heart

You’re Left brain / Right brain

  • Strong communicator, internally and externally, to customers, partners, press etc. Extraordinary social skills at all levels. Strong at collaboration with other teams.
  • A great understanding of social media
  • Strong creative writing skills, with rigorous attention to detail
  • Analytical, proficient at Excel
  • Driven by customer & local insight
