The position

Job description

We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and hands-on Product Manager that is excited about building the Operating System that will help cities and transportation services thrive in the mobility revolution. As a Product Manager, you will be building features and improvements, taking part in the product strategy and creating a great user experience, by solving a wide range of problems. At Vianova, product development is a collaborative and cross-functional effort between Engineering, Design, Sales and Customer Success teams.

🎯 Your missions :

  • Define and manage product release scopes in collaboration with the Engineering and Customer Success teams as well as according to the roadmap shaped together with the CTO and the CEO
  • Write new product specs, manage the product backlog as well as support tickets, and ensure the user stories are ready for smooth roll-out of new features or relevant fixes
  • Track the release delivery and ensure functional testing of the new features in order to make sure they match the defined requirements and use cases
  • Keep a constant eye on your success metrics (product usage, production quality, etc.) and find ways to optimize user engagement and satisfaction
  • Talk to our users as often as possible in order to better understand their needs, learn about their pains and find out how best we can deliver value to them according to their different personas
  • Create, improve and update product documentations (API ReadMe, Help Desk Articles, Use Cases, etc.) for internal and external communication, while making specialized knowledge accessible to non-technical audiences
  • Build expertise in your product area, by combining user research, analytics as well as market insights, and share your learnings throughout the company in order to help the Engineering and Sales teams better apprehend user needs

Preferred experience

About you:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Master’s degree from Engineering or Business School or equivalent, with significant experience as Product Manager or Product Owner in an agile team
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle as well as Agile/Scrum methodology, and solid experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • User oriented, ability to precisely articulate complex feature requirements, capture clear user stories, and create detailed documents in a clear, concise, and structured manner
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Insight-driven, with the desire for becoming an expert on a given topic, combining user research, product analytics, and market insights
  • Autonomous, organized and proactive, obsessed with optimisation, and enthusiastic to work on strong technical challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Love inspiring your team to deliver the greatest experience possible
  • Fluency in English
