With a global team of 100 (16 in France, 9 of them in Sales), we’re now looking for an ambitious Sales Director to lead our French sales organization into its next phase of growth.
As our new Sales Director, you'll report directly to our Vice President Customer Success global & Sales Europe, Birgit. You'll take full ownership of our French sales strategy and execution, leading a talented team of Sales Managers and SDRs. Your mission: drive exponential growth and establish vialytics as the go-to solution for local governments across France.
Customer Advocacy: Build trust-based relationships with decision-makers (mayors, technical departments, smart city leaders). Drive consultative, solution-oriented sales rooted in client needs with the responsibility for the whole Sales-cycle. Focus on new customer acquisition and sales growth.
Sales Strategy: Define and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company OKRs. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure smooth pipeline and growth alignment as well as the implementation and development of certain KPIs.
Operational Excellence: Use CRM tools (Salesforce) and KPIs to ensure forecasting accuracy, process consistency, and pipeline health.
Leadership & Coaching: Inspire, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of SDRs and Account Executives. Foster a winning, supportive, and metrics-driven sales culture.
Team Growth: Attract and retain top talent in SaaS/B2G sales. Hire, onboard, and develop new reps to meet ambitious growth targets.
Sales Methods: Realization and execution of our vialytics Sales methodology, based on MEDDICC.
Proven Leadership: 2–5+ years leading successful B2B or B2G Sales Teams (ideally SaaS-based). You know how to coach A-players, manage performance, talk to c-level decision-makers and build culture.
Sales DNA: You’re a born “hunter,” not afraid to get your hands dirty, especially in early scaling phases. High energy, highly driven, and obsessed with growth.
Strategic & Hands-On: A strategic thinker who can zoom out—but also dive in to support your team on key deals, coaching and closing when needed.
Solution-Oriented Mindset: You uncover client pain points and turn them into long-term partnerships.
Communication and negotiation Skills: You show excellent communication and negotiation skills at decision maker level.
Language Proficiency: French (C2) and English (B2+); German is a bonus.
SaaS/Tech/Smart City/ Know-How/B2G: Passionate about innovation and eager to drive digital transformation in public sector infrastructure.

Competitive Salary: Base €55–65K, OTE €90–110K (uncapped commissions)
