About This Role

We are looking for a QA engineer to join our R&D center. You’ll be part of a freshly created cross-functional team in our new Engineering office in Sofia, Bulgaria. The position is to be part of a team that will help build the transit products of tomorrow.

What You’ll Do

• Work in an international development team;
• Test and verify complex applications;
• Gather required information/documents from various sources and evaluate the information for testing;
• Analyze requirements and create test plans, test cases and test notes
• Implement manual tests in a client/server environment ;
• Provide descriptive reports and ensure high-quality deliverables;
• Keep track of identified bugs and their status.

Who You Are

• You can work independently;
• You have experience in testing products with complex architecture;
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• You have experience with test case design and execution;
• You have an excellent understanding of QA processes – test planning, test cases, bug tracking systems and software development life cycle;
• You have good understanding of usability and accessibility;
• You have very good system understanding and analysis capabilities with previous proven experience in testing full systems.
• You are a proficient English language user - excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What Catches Our Eye

• You have experience with automation tools (e.g. Postman) including the ability to prepare manual scripts that are either ready for automation or have the capacity of executing the automation.
• Knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language.
• You have experience in testing web and mobile applications
