Via has partnered with 100+ cities and public transit agencies around the world to deploy our mobility technology. As a Fleet Manager on Via’s Operations team, you’ll be responsible for managing fleet operations using our innovative technology platform and purpose-built tools. You’ll manage day-to-day fleet operations and own the condition of the fleet while continuously driving efficiency in our operations.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure Via’s partners’ fleets are maintained in excellent condition
• Proactively manage day-to-day operations to key performance indicators
• Coordinate shuttling and maintenance work with vendors, partners and local fleet leads
• Clearly communicate real-time status updates internally and externally
• Accurately keep track of fleet maintenance activity and costs using the tools provided
• Generate reports and work with data to provide insights on fleet performance
• Prioritize operational issues as the real-time point of contact for fleet issues and implement creative solutions to solve problems as they arise
• Work collaboratively with cross-functionally to develop scalable processes and tools to increase operating efficiency and performance
• Travel to local operations throughout the Dallas, TX area

Who You Are:

• A self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
• 3-5 years of previous project management, operations, or fleet management experience [preferred but not required]
• Outgoing and sociable; skilled at communicating professionally with colleagues, vendors and partners from a broad range of backgrounds
• Diligent and with an attention to detail
• Willing to wear multiple hats and contribute on projects of all types
• Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
• Willing to travel to local operations in the Dallas, TX area

What Catches Our Eye:

• Experience and certification as a car mechanic and/or fleet management
• Taking initiative and owning new projects
• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving / adapting as conditions change
• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree
