Within the backend team, we are looking for a DevOps to take charge of the deployment and infrastructure of our applications. By industrialising developments, your role is to ensure the availability, performance and security of what is delivered.

Your team:

8 developers, including 4 seniors, supervised by a CTO. Several developers will quickly complete your committed and united team. Our team is a mixed remote / on-site team.

Your main missions :

• Manage the DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan) and deployment procedures on the Veesion production network
• Supervise and monitor production infrastructure servers (production VPN, Web servers)
• Manage incidents
• Ensure an optimal level of security
• Design and optimise methods for large-scale deployment of the Veesion product
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in infrastructure and application design

Example of projects to be pursued:

• Setting up a pre-production test laboratory
• Benchmarking tools to ensure the scalability of applications
• Setting up a PXE installation
• Developing observability to ensure service continuity

Application Stack :

Python, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Keycloak, OAuth2
Infrastructure stacks: Azure, Ubuntu headless servers, Docker, Ansible, GCP
AWS services used: Lambda (applicatif), S3 (storage), ECR (container / docker)
Monitoring : Prometheus, Grafana

Expected Qualifications

• Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu headless servers)
• Excellent knowledge of systems and networks
• Knowledge of devops (Docker, Ansible)
• Knowledge of infrastructure and application security
• Basic programming skills (Python if possible)

Bonus

• Knowledge in the tool chain used or desired (git, ansible, docker, pxe)
• Knowledge of databases
• Experience with Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience in database management
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
