Your assignment

Reporting to our Cloud Team Leader (who is based in London) your main mission will be to ensure the administration and security of our Cloud infrastructures in compliance with our SLA (Service Level Agreement).  You will daily interact with our Support Engineers, our Cloud Architect and our Delivery team members based in Europe & North America.

The role will be ideally located at Paris or Toulouse but  has the potential to be 100% remote, with a couple of trips to your local office every year. We have all the tools and processes to support a no-hassle remote work environment (Atlassian tools, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

Things you'll be working on

As Cloud Administrator within our Managed Services team, you will work on :

- Monitor and maintain the system, data security, management tools and documentation

- Deliver continuous improvement of recipes, scripts and templates for reproducible deployments

- Create new environments using an infrastructure as code solution

- Manage development repositories, build automation and application deployment activities

- Participate in the resolution of level 3 technical support tickets by identifying solutions to problems escalated by the support team 

- Troubleshoot performance issues

- Manage and deploy SSL/TLS certificates

- Monitor and maintain hundreds of Atlassian applications

Questions you'll help answer

- Could you please provide us with a Jira / Confluence / Bitbucket environment to support our Business needs?

- Could you please upgrade our Jira / Confluence / Bitbucket instance?

- Our users have reported some slowness on our Jira / Confluence / Bitbucket instance, could you please investigate?

- Our Security team has reported a vulnerability on the environment hosting our Jira / Confluence / Bitbucket application, could you please fix that vulnerability?

- Would it be possible to integrate our Jira / Confluence / Bitbucket application hosted in Valiantys Cloud infrastructure with some of our on-premise systems?

What you need to be successful

To be perfectly comfortable with your missions, you must have studied Computer Science and justify with at least 2 years of experience in System administration and ideally Cloud administration / especially in critical key account customer contexts.

You speak French fluently and English (C1).

For this position, you will need technical knowledge :

- Linux administration 

- Cloud administration (AWS, OBS)

- Atlassian Suite: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence...

- Scripting (Shell, Python)

- Databases Postgre

- SSL Certificates , IT security

- Internet protocols: iDNS, HTTP, TCP

- Load-balancing and multiple-nodes infrastructure

- Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
