Job description

💬 The job in short…

As Content & Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in the accomplishment of Ulysse mission : make air travel effortless and sustainable.

You will be responsible to write & publish content in different formats across all platforms in order to help Ulysse raise its brand awareness in France and internationally.

❤️ About us

**Ulysse is the flight booking site that really takes care of its customers.**

Faced with overwhelming evidence - booking a flight ticket has become a jungle full of changing prices, ads and pop-ups, redirects or hidden fees - we offer every traveler an alternative: a simple, intuitive and reliable product, that listens to its customers.

For the crew, as for our users, we are:

  • Transparent: we say and share (almost) everything.
  • Simple: we’re always thinking about removing complexity.
  • Human: tech is nothing without the humans behind.

Our ambition: become the air travel assistant of travelers around the world.

🎯 The not impossible missions

From the beginning of its adventure, Ulysse has instilled a tone of voice and a vision of travel in its communication. The Marketing & Communication team was and still is the guarantor of this.

The message? You can travel in a very peace of mind. That’s what we say. In the name of these values, Ulysse wishes to develop content where advice, values, humor and travel inspirations are present.

Today, the Marketing & Communication team, in charge of pushing Ulysse’s creativity to the top of the Kilimanjaro and managing the content and animation of social networks, is looking for an highly motivated Social Media and Content Manager ready for the adventure!

Within the Marketing & Communication team you will:

  • Write things to make people laugh and teach them things.
  • Define, build and maintain high quality content strategy that raises the awareness of our brand.
  • Manage a full content calendar to inspire/inform our community.
  • Manage the daily publication schedule on all our social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin) and exchange with our community.
  • Launch new social networks if it seems relevant.
  • Follow the internal events that punctuate the life of Ulysse to generate corporate content (newsletters, blog posts).
  • Convey Ulysse’s values and smile to our community.
  • Perform regular benchmarks to stay on top of what’s happening in other media, travel trends, our competitors and social networks.
  • Monitor KPI.

⛱ The (nice) working environment

As a famous Michael J. says, “All players must put their talent at the service of the team”.

We totally agree with His Airness. So that each member of the crew can express their talent, we offer a stimulating working environment :

  • Office in the ❤️ of Paris (metro stations: Poissonière / Bonne Nouvelle).
  • Flexible remote policy.
  • Free flights as a yearly bonus.
  • 100% health coverage (hi Alan).
  • Remote trips every 6 months.
  • Transparent remuneration system based on objective criteria with meaningful equity package for all crew members.
