Your team:

Within the engineering division of the Paris office of Technip Energies you will contribute/pertain to the Regulatory Compliance section.

With 60 years of experience in energy project design, the division is composed of 600 people representing all the disciplines present on our installations (> 20).

Your playground :

Within a multicultural task force, you will participate in the engineering and design of the projects carried out by TEN France for the various LBs of the group, decarbonized solutions (CO2 capture, H2, FOW), LNG or biofuels. On these projects most often at export, you will be in interface with teams from other disciplines within TEN (management project, procurement, construction) as well as our mostly international partners (customer, seller, value engineering partner...) and third parties.

 

Your daily activity:

As Regulatory Compliance Manager Off-shore F/H you will be responsible for :

  • Establish, maintain and implement project procedures related to regulatory compliance 
  • Ensure suitable reporting to project management and client
  • Review national regulations identified as applicable by the legal consultant and inform the project of regulations that have impact in each project phase, support to clarify when necessary. 
  • Ensure that documentation of regulatory compliance is robust and available.
  • Establish and maintain a permitting register
  • Establish and implement class activities with Classification society, ensure all exchanges on the project are preformed, understood and recorded formally in a timely manner and of right quality.
  • Ensure Project documents are identified and transferred to Class Society in timely manner, ensure disciplines close-out.
  • Ensure Flag activities are dully coordinated.
  • Coordinate Project queries raised to Class /Flag.
  • Be responsible for the commercial aspect and final close-out of Class contracts.
  • Ensure that Flag provisional Certificate and Class Provisional Certificate and other mandatory documents are issued and re-issued in a timely manner until final hand-over to Client.
  • For Verification, establish and execute contract with third party(ies). Ensure that all exchanges with third party are performed in a timely manner and are of the right quality. Ensure the requirements are cascaded to Vendors/Subcontract if required
  • Support Project in Performance Standard coordination.

You will be our internal and external focal point for the above-mentioned activities.

 

Your assets for success:

You are the ideal profile if, with an engineering degree or equivalent , minimum 5 years relevant work experience with Classification societies, Flag administration in the Maritime / oil and gas industry with a minimum of 5-years’ experience in work with third party organizations, national authorities and regulatory compliance.

Experience with local regulation and permitting support is an advantage.

 

You possess good communication and coordination skills, ability to work with third party organizations, local authorities, Client , Vendors, Subcontractors and internally with multiple disciplines.

You have good knowledge of Classification and Flag administration rules and International Laws, Acts and regulations. Good understanding on the role, responsibilities and limitations of a third party.

 

You have technical knowledge in system and packages, construction and testing philosophies. Good knowledge of technical safety is an advantage.

 

Experience from Operations, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning and understanding of engineering processes is a good advantage.

 

You naturally promote team-working and cross functional collaboration among the different functions both internally with Procurement, Engineering, Inspection, construction, commissioning and externally with Class /Flag / third party, Client, Sub-contractors and Vendors.

 

Analytical and organizational mindset together with effectiveness in building and implementing new processes and procedures are very much welcomed. 

 

Your spirit of synthesis, excellent communication skills, your dynamism and a good level of English will be key to integrating you quickly and performing in our teams.
